Geert Vleugels brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at Tjoapack. Graduating with a degree in Electro-Mechanics, Geert has amassed over 30 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of leadership positions across manufacturing, warehousing, project management, and supply chain operations at esteemed organizations such as Schering-Plough, Catalent, GSK, and Recipharm. Geert’s hands-on, results-driven approach, coupled with his passion for packaging operations, has enabled him to drive value and excellence in every aspect of his work. He is dedicated to assessing existing business processes to optimize cost, quality, compliance, and performance. Geert firmly believes in the power of teamwork and embraces a ‘Can Do’ mentality, viewing collaboration as the key to success. He is eager to bring his expertise to the TPN team and work closely with colleagues to achieve even greater heights of excellence.

As the General Manager at Tjoapack NL, Geert Vleugels, will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational, financial, and strategic performance of the TPN. He will be accountable for driving full P&L results and spearheading the execution of the company’s strategy to surpass annual targets. Geert will lead operational transformation efforts to enhance on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Additionally, he will cultivate key relationships with core customers, identifying new business opportunities for sustainable revenue growth. Geert’s leadership will focus on building and motivating a cohesive management team, while instilling a sense of urgency and energy throughout the organization to drive excellence and success.

Fun fact:

Outside of the professional realm, Geert’s priorities shift entirely to family and close friends, with whom he spends the majority of his free time. An avid traveler, he enjoys exploring new destinations whenever possible. In the rare moments when he’s not jet-setting or socializing, Geert channels his creativity into craftwork at home, specializing in building and installing closets to optimize available space.
