Meet the Tjoapack Team!

Ian Anderson, our Continuous Improvement Director, brings a wealth of experience to the Tjoapack team, with a strong foundation in both operational excellence and leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology with a minor in Industrial Engineering from the United States Military Academy, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. In addition, Ian is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, with over 20 years of experience driving improvements in operations, supply chain, and quality.

At Tjoapack, Ian is focused on making our operations and processes more efficient and effective. Recognizing that many operational challenges stem from different forms of waste, he works collaboratively across teams to lead structured problem-solving sessions. These sessions are designed to identify issues, measure their impact, implement solutions, and assess their effectiveness—ultimately ensuring smoother, more optimized workflows across the organization.

Fun Fact

Ian served as an Aviation Officer in the United States Army, flying helicopters during two combat tours in Iraq. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. A commercial-rated pilot for both helicopters and airplanes, Ian has accumulated nearly 1,700 accident-free flight hours—an impressive testament to his skill, precision, and discipline.
